Tesco Agri T-Jam and World Agri-Tech Pitch Day

The Tesco Agri T-Jam at the World Agri-Tech Pitch Day returned for a second year, offering more exciting seed and early-stage agri-tech innovators from around the world the opportunity to work with the UK’s leading food retailer and its supply chain partners.

Almost 100 submissions were reviewed by Tesco’s agri-food team and supply chain partners, to reach their final 10 start-ups selected to pitch their solutions on October 14 to an audience of Tesco colleagues and supply chain partners. The audience included investors and agribusinesses from the World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit’s global network.

Roboscientific won the Tesco Agri T-Jam and has been selected for fast-track introductions and mentoring by the Tesco agriculture team and its supplier network.

All finalists attended the two-day World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit (October 15-16) as guests, and the winner presented on stage as part of the acclaimed Technology Showcase. All start-ups enjoyed powerful networking opportunities with the international summit audience of over 500 agribusiness decision-makers and investors.
