The food system reimagined, what do you want to know? Rob Dongoski, EY Food & Agribusiness Leader, answers the industry’s most pressing questions in a live Q&A
The food system as we know it is experiencing a massive rift. COVID-19 has severely affected the end-to-end food ecosystem, highlighting its essential nature and fragility. However, this unprecedented pandemic has also shed light on the issue of food security as a national security agenda item and has accelerated peripheral disruptions, like digitization, into the foreground. And all of this is on top of tariffs, a changing regulatory landscape and environmental impacts with which the sector was already grappling.
As we consider how the food system will be reimagined, how roles will be adjusted and how companies across the food and ag value chain must grow, we are faced with the industry’s unique paradoxes. But understanding that possible solutions reside within the intersection and friction points of these paradoxes can help us identify growth opportunities for the future. What are your paradoxes? What opportunities do those create?
Alongside other industry thought leaders, Rob Dongoski, EY Food & Agribusiness Leader, will be speaking at the World Agri-Tech Summit to address the enormous changes facing food and ag, provide valuable insights and encourage smarter questions.
At Ernst & Young LLP, we believe that the better the question, the better the answer, the better the world works. Each of us has a role in reshaping the future of food, and together we can find the solutions.
Please join Rob at World Agri-Tech on September 16 at 5:45pm BST/12:45pm ET for a live Q&A to discuss the challenges, solutions and opportunities of the food system reimagined.
